Is Work Experience Necessary for Unilag Postgraduate Program?

Work experience is not always a mandatory requirement for all postgraduate programs at the University of Lagos (Unilag). However, depending on the program of study, relevant work experience may be considered an advantage and can increase an applicant's chances of being admitted.

Some professional and executive master's programs at Unilag, such as the MBA and Executive MBA programs, require a minimum number of years of work experience, usually ranging from two to five years.

POST ON STUDENTS WITH NO WORK EXPERIENCE

These programs are designed for professionals who have already established a career and want to enhance their knowledge and skills to advance further in their field.

In addition to improving an applicant's chances of being admitted, work experience can also help students to perform better in their postgraduate studies by providing them with practical knowledge and skills that are relevant to their coursework.

However, it is important to note that the requirement for work experience varies from program to program, and not all postgraduate programs at Unilag require it. Therefore, applicants should carefully review the admission requirements for their chosen program to determine whether work experience is necessary or not.
