The University of Lagos popularly known as Unilag has activated the online payment option for her teaming students and prospective students who apply for any of their program all through the year.
This I must say is a welcome development especially for the forthcoming 2016/2017 postgraduate application form that will be on sale soon.
The effects of this singular act cannot be quantified.
This will cut off the stress of going to the bank to pay cash and and man-hour wasted
It will also cut off a lot of people who take advantage of unsuspecting candidates to duped them.
Its almost the same charges as when you go and pay in cash, just about N32.83 difference.
The payment portal is been managed by Transgate.
Below is the 7-process for Online payment
1. Generate a Payment Voucher:
from this link after selecting the program. e.g If I am selecting Postgraduate degree, a form will come for me to fill and after filling it, a Voucher will be generated for me as below.http://applications.unilag.edu.ng/(S(4rnbg2eyido3ylvotfx3hq2q))/Start.aspx
2. CLICK ON THE PAY ONLINE NOW link
after clicking on the link its give an opening where you input the voucher code then click continue
3. OPEN TO CHOSE PAYMENT CARD
After selecting your card. like MasterCard, VISA or verve click continue
4, fill in your card details
You will find two options for payment,
1. Unified payment system
2. Inter-swift
there charges are different
Unified payment system charges N432.83 extra, while Inter-swift charge N500 extra. as the form fee is N22,100.

Using Unified payment just need some long completion of other information.

5. Click on pay with debit or credit card if satisfied
6. Payment success message will be generated or failure
7. login to your portal and print the pay advise
Hope you got all you info right, its the best news this year from Unilag. I know they are trying to make as seamless as possible all payment issues to avoid scams and stress.
