Unilag Post Ume 2012: Unilag Post Utme Sample Test Questions 2011/2012

The questions can be so cheap, the questions can be confusing as well, the time may seem insufficient you have 60questions 30mins.

UPDATE:  UNILAG ADMISSION 2012/2013 MERIT LIST-CHECK IT HERE

UPDATE VIEW THE REAL CUT-OFF MARKS 2012/2013 HERE

Download Unilag admission 2011/2012 cut-offs mark here

The secrets really is to do the following:

1. concentrate on questions rather than looking at time
2. go and start from the simplest questions first, which are really at the back of the questions paper.
3. The questionings you dont know use elimination to guess them. how? see this post HERE.
4. go through your work and make sure you really finish all the questions.
5. If you cant finish and you hear pens up; use this startegy: shade a particular number for all the ones remaining using the hindsight of the correct answers you got right in other questions. what I mean is this, if when you were shading and you noticed that most answers are (C), then instead of submitting unanswered questions, shade (C) for them-this trick works very well
for me in all exams I have done. There are no negative marking.
6. Don't wait for anyone to send you expo, most times it won't happen, the invigilating is very tight.
7. GO AND STUDY WELL.

OK. Here are sample questions you will likely meet in all schools, the difference will be very small. study them and enjoy.
The questions consist mostly of English, current affairs, maths and logical/verbal attitude questions

UNILAG Post Ume | University of lagos Post Ume/Utme 2011/2012 | Unilag Post Ume Past Questions

For those who are looking for how the scores are calculated, please read carefully below information.

Allow me state how Unilag calculates their scores.

From 2005-2010, the utme score used to be divided by 8 and give 50 percent and post utme graded 100 and divide 2= 50. The results added to make the cut offs.

But this year the co-efficient of utme is reduced from 50 to 40, your utme score is divided by 10, which is over 40 and post utme is 60 and no division,

your post utme is over 60,

Total calculation is (Utme 40 + post Utme 60)= 100)

In Mathematical Format:
Former Utme Aggregate Calculation:
utme score/8 + post utme score/2= aggregate score,
E.g 400/8=50 +100/2=50. Aggregate score = 100.

New calculatiön:
utme score/10 + post utme score(60) = Aggregate score.
E.g 400/10=40 + 60 . Aggregate = 100.

There is also a general cut-off in post utme for admissions consideration 40 and above in post utme/60.

Remember so many people applied to Unilag post ume/utme over 100,000.
the best advise is to read hard and hard.

Note:
If you score less than 40 in post utme /60, you would not be considered for admissions, even if your catchment requires 26 in post utme, u must have a mininum of 40 in post utme/60.

Some Scores Examples:
Unilag normally take a minimum of 70/100 for unilag post ume/utme exams. so to be in a safer position for admission, that is the minimum score. see some examples below.

1. UME SCORES OF 290 , you have 29 in jamb utme and you need 41/60 in the post utme exams for minimum admission requirement this year.

2. UME SCORES OF 214 , you have 21.4 in jamb utme and you need 47.6/60 in the post utme exams for minimum admission requirement this year.
3. UME SCORES OF 277, you have 27.7, just work hard 2 get 43 and above/60 in post utme.

4. 3. UME SCORES OF 275, you have 25, just work hard 2 get 45 and above/60 in post utme,

4. UME SCORES OF 200, you have 20., you will require work to score mini of 50/60 etc

Below 200 do not bother as Unilag do not consider below 200 mark for post utme/ume exams test in admitting students. see this post Unilag Jamb/ume cut-off mark 2011/2012.
