Unilag Post Utme 2012/2013 Exams updates: How to Score Above 80/100 in Post UTME Computer eTest

I would like to bring to your notice that the different dates for the Unilag Post UTME 2012 exams have been fixed. This only shows one thing there are various forms of the examinations.

So if faculty of Business Administration is doing option A
Faculty of Medicine and Surgery may be doing option B
so on and so forth but the questions are all O' level,  like what you did in JAMB.

Now to Pass Well Here are My Tricks.

1. If your exams is not on the first day, go to school on the first date of the exams and maybe second day
2. Make friends with one or two people doing exams on that date.
3. Before they go in for the exams ask them to take a look at the questions and give you a hint after they come out.
 4. Then you just know what to expect and go and concentrate on those areas.
 5. But I also say after reading your Unilag  past questions you should read the past questions and answers you used for JAMB exams.
6. Please follow the instructions on the computer very well.
7. If you  have any doubt call an invigilator to assist you
8. No need to spy and panic, the questions are very cheap.
9. Do not leave any question blank, if you don't know the answers you should do "elimination strategy".   How?
Delete those that you know are not the answer its like what you do In who wants to be a millionaire 50-50.

Example:

Boko Haram is a terrorist group located in ---------- State in Nigeria.
a. Lagos b. Imo  c. Bornu. d. Adamawa  e. Abuja.

Now if I dont know the answer, to apply elimination strategy, I will delete those I know are not the answer which is (LAGOS, IMO, ABUJA). Then I will be left with Bornu and Adamawa.

Then you apply the rule of first mention.

This means when you first heard about Boko Haram which state did you hear related to the group?

Or you make your intelligent guess.

10. Always start answering your questions from the back.
front questions are very difficult compared to the later questions.
11. After you,ve done the ones you know, go back to the ones you left at first and
answer them using the strategy above.
12. Never never you cheat, if you dont make it its never the end of the world.  A good name is better than riches.
13. Ask for Gods favor and help. He has power to do all things.

Nigerian Turkish Nile University 2012/2013 post UTME Ends June 29th

This is to remind all students who made the Nigerian Turkish Nile University their first or second choice in JAMB and scored 180 and above that the 2012 post UTME exercise of the university is still ongoing and will end on Friday, June 29th 2012.

Interested students who wish to study in the NTNU but did not make the school a choice in JAMB is welcome to apply.

Note that this university is offering 100% tuition free scholarship to all Nigerian students that scored 280 or above in JAMB provided the student pass the NTNU post UTME.

About Nigerian Turkish Nile University

University of Port -Harcourt-UNIPORT 2012/2013 SSLT Programme Screening Exam Holds

Applications are invited from suitably qualified UTME candidates for admission into the Full-Time five years Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) Degree Programme in the School of Science Laboratory Technology, with specialization in any of the following options:
i. Biochemistry & Chemistry Technology
ii. Biomedical Technology
iii. Geology and Mining Technology
iv. Industrial Chemistry & Petrochemical Technology
v. Microbiology Technology
vi. Physics/with Electronics Technology
vii. Physics with Production Technology

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess the following qualifications
i. Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, NECO, OR NABTEB
ii. UTME: All candidates who wish to apply for admission must have written the 2012 UTME with a minimum score of 180.
iii. UTME SUBJECTS:
(a) Biomedical Technology, Biochemistry/Chemistry Technology and Microbiology Technology options: English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
(b) Geology/Mining Technology, Industrial Chemistry/Petrochemical Technology, Physics with Electronics Technology and Physics with Production Technology options: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

SCREENING EXERCISE

The date for the screening exercise is Tuesday, 17th July, 2012. Time is 7.00am.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates should visit any Cyber Café and access the Registration Portal: http://sslt.uniport.edu.ng and complete the Application Form for the SSLT screening exercise for 2012/2013.

Important Notes

1. Candidates’ names on their O’level certificates and JAMB results must be same with what is filled on the Post UTME Form.
2. Mobile phones, walkman, ipod, ipad and similar gadgets are not allowed into the screening venue.
3. Candidates must apply within the Registration period as the link for the Application Form will be disabled at mid-night on Monday, 9th July, 2012.
4. Candidates must report to Screening Venues by 7.00am.
5. Parents and Guardians as well as uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the Campus on the days of the screening exercise.
