Web Administrator
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Web Administrator in our organization.
This position, based in Lagos, shall be primarily responsible for the design, implementation and management of the company’s intranet and extranet websites.
Successful candidates shall also do the following:
-Creation and/or implementation of updates to the Company’s intranet and extranet sites
-Provide training and feedback to those users who will have direct input to the sites.
-Troubleshooting difficult or unusual situations and suggesting site improvements to management.
-Ensure use of most relevant software for the management and future development of the sites.
-Work closely with the IT Department Database Analysts and Support team to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
-Production of documentation relating to all facets of the intranet and extranet including, but not limited to, design specifications, technical documentation and end user instructions.
-Production of Company e-Newsletter.
Qualification and experience
Candidates shall be expected to possess the following qualification and experience
-A university degree, preferably in Computer Science/Web Design - Essential
-Competent with all major web design and administration products -Essential
-The aptitude to troubleshoot problems under pressure - Necessary
-Flexible, creative, ability to prioritize in stressful environment - Essential
-Formal training in the use of specialist web design and database products - Essential
-A good understanding of PCs, operating and security systems plus networking applications is necessary.
-A minimum of 5 years post qualification industry experience
